In February 2005, 5 guys not known to each other met in the local village pub, the only thing in common was that we were all Fathers of children who attended the Kings Cliffe Endowed School and that we all wanted to raise money for charity.
In June 2005, we held our first event in aid of the Marie Curie Cancer Care and raised such an incredible amount of money, we then became hooked on fundraising and the rest became history.
Since our launch, work or family commitments has seen 3 members come and go, Dennis returning to America and Lee moving to Peterborough. In 2008 we lost Tim who moved to the UAE. All the guys continue to keep in touch, we wish them all the best and a big thank you for their part in raising such a fantastic sum of money.
The group now consists of 6; Chris Cunnington, Robin Chesterman, Gary Homewood, Mark Baillie, Paul Dunn and Andy Riley, we are all looking forward to another incredible fundraising year in 2010.
